Halloween Night

We had a special Halloween themed dinner with our neighbors before it was time to trick-or-treat. Pierce was a little frog.
Hannah Montana made a special appearance at the Weber House.
And Dora was quite an explorer!!

Our neighbors Aaron and Cameron were the first to stop by for pictures.
A few more of the neighbor kids were ready for a photo op together.
The kids were ready to hit the streets in search of CANDY!

We had quite a gang of 10+ kids!

The most fun part was sorting all the candy at our friend's house!

Rowan and Gage were comparing loot!
Pierce had his first candy ever..a lollipop, and he LOVED it!

Carving Pumpkins

It's not really Halloween here in the Weber House without carving pumpkins...unfortunately for Mom and Dad because we always end up doing all the work! Hayden created here own design this year which made it a little tougher for Daddy to cut out.

Rowan did a little decorating herself, but we decided to go with a template for hers.

Pierce was busy playing with bowls while we worked...he loves making a big mess and a lot of noise!

Tada! The pumpkins are done...until next year!

Bates Nut Farm Pumpkin Patch

It was our first time to the Pumpkin Patch in California, and it was a success! It was the day before Halloween, so we barely squeezed it in on time! We rode a hayride, searched for pumpkins, and conquered the straw maze.

Grammy and Poppy's Visit

While Gavin and I took a trip to North Carolina for a friend's wedding, Gavin's mom and step-dad came to stay with the kids. Poppy came after we left, so we didn't get any pictures of him, but here is Gavin with the kids and his mom after a dinner out together!

Wildfires

We had our first real experience with California wildfires. It's very surreal seeing something like this from your backyard (where weCheck Spelling too the pics). Also very odd to start making lists of what you'd take with you in case of an evacuation. Luckily they were put out safely, and it really helps you keep things in perspective of what is really important in life.

Brick Or Treat

We took the kids to Legoland's Halloween "Brick or Treat". The kids had a great time, but after going always going during the week when there are few crowds, on this Saturday it felt super busy to Gavin and me, so we didn't stay too long!

Muffin Tin Meal

So I think I have started a new "kick" - muffin tin meals for the kids! Today I tried my first attempt, and the girls loved it! I guess there is something to the little compartments that makes eating more fun...I have big aspirations for better and more creative meals for the kids!

Sea World

We had an awesome morning at Sea World. The new Bay of Play area is all Sesame Street themed and just perfect for our kids! There are lots of fun hands-on things that Pierce can even do.

Here's Pierce trying his hand at the xylophone. Daddy and the girls started climbing a huge net maze...
and ended way up high in the sky!
Everyone is looking at the camera...a minor miracle.
Hayden is giving Elmo a scolding.
Rowan and Pierce were a little shy with the characters, so the only way they would get their picture taken was if Mommy was in it too.
This was Rowan's first time touching a starfish. The largest starfish we have ever seen.

Right before we left, we got a picture with the otter.

Sprinkler Time

It's the beginning of October, and it's warm enough for the kids to run in the sprinkler. It was Pierce's first time playing in the sprinkler, and he had an absolute blast - he kept wanting to carry the sprinkler around and spray Hayden and Rowan (much to their dismay).
